- Here is a list of the vitamins and minerals it is rich in:
-lecithin
-calcium
-vitamin E
-tryptophan
-magnesium
-iron
-copper
-phosphorus
-thiamin (vitamin B1)
-zinc
-selenium
-essential fatty acids
-methionine
-vitamin E
Why raw tahini instead of roasted tahini?
~The answer to this question is simple. When you roast the sesame seeds that tahini is made out of you kill a lot of the helpful enzymes that we want and need. Also, the nutrient level decreases significantly when the seeds are roasted. When in doubt- buy raw!
